So we decided to have a short break on the Canary Islands, Tenerife to be exact, back in November. But before we start
to explore the island, let's have a look at our hotel, the Hotel Aguamarina Golf in Golf del Sur. This is the view
from our very nice room # 363.

A photo of one of the swimming pools of the Aguamarina Golf hotel. If you look closely, you will notice that the wind was
quite strong that day.
|

The hotel is directly situated at the coastline, close to the tiny harbour. As it is at the end of a street, there is just
the traffic for the hotel and the surrounding appartments. And you can easily access the sea from the hotel.
|

There is a small paved trail, inviting you to get a first glimpse of the beaches and the rugged coastline.
|

The Aguamarina Golf hotel has a small private beach for those who prefer the sea over the swimming pools.
However, as Tenerife is a vulcanic island, the beaches are often made of black sand!
|

Another highlight of the hotel is its secluded private swimming pool in a park-like environment. Even in
November this area was not too crowded.

The swimming pool area in the late evening - beautifully illuminated, it invites for a final walk before
you go to bed (or to one of the bars).

Waysigns guide you to the various facilities of the hotel, like the heated pool, the fitness center, or the mini-club.
