Another photo of the main swimming pool of the Hotel Aguamarina Golf. There was always enough space while we were there.

This building next to our hotel was a time-share appartment complex (you can't book this through your typical reservation
engines), but I liked it so much that I simply had to take a photo from the seaside-walk. :-)

One of the beautiful palm trees in Golf del Sur. As the coastline is rather dry, you won't find too much green here, but
wait until you go all the way up to the National Park!

When we had our rental car, we started to explore the neighboring villages. This is Los Abrigos, which is very
popular with wind surfers. As the wind is quite strong and steady here, I fully understand why they like it so much!

The wind surfers allowed me to get the most of my new Canon EOS 1ds mark2. Without blowing my own horn too loudly,
I like the results: action packed photos of superb athlets!

This surfer was performing a looping stunt for us, and despite being quite far away, the photo
(done with my 70-200 mm telephoto lens) is crisp and sharp, transporting the atmosphere quite well. Incredible!
It seems to me that Los Abrigos is the ideal spot for wind surfers!
