Another photo of the Grossmünster, this time seen from the bridge across the Limmat.

When you take a short walk along the east side of the Limmat (on the Limmatquai), you will come
across a number of nice street cafes and restaurants - often in historic buildings. Our photo shows the Zunft zur Zimmerleuten. The main goal
for the guests is - to be seen. :-)

A traditional boat on a sunny Sunday morning on Zurich's Limmat river.

The western side of the river Limmat in Zürich, with St. Peter church and the mayors office (right).
During the summer months you will also find a traditional carousel next to the mayors office.

This is the interiour of the Fraumünster church in Zürich, plain but still fascinating.

You can admire these beautiful stained windows by Marc Chagall (1887-1985) at the Fraumünster church.
They have been designed by the artist in 1970.

The Lindenhof is a must-visit when you come to Zurich. It is a small park located on the western side
of the Limmat river, very close to the mayors office. On pleasant days you will find chess players enjoying
a quick break from work - or retirement. :-)

Another picture of the beautiful spot called "Lindenhof". As there are very few cars in this part of the city,
the place is really quiet and relaxing.

This photo is from our 2004 trip to Zurich, a view from the Lindenhof viewpoint across the Limmat river and the
old town. Beautiful!
