It's the only six-coloured national flag in the world, representing the different people and groups within the country, now living peacefully together in one country. Red, white, and blue are from the Boers, the white settlers from Europe. Green, black and yellow were brought in by the African National Congress (ANC), which is Nelson Mandelas party.
