Oban Caledonian MacBrayne

Oban is an important ferry link towards the Isle of Mull. The ferry, operated by Caledonian MacBrayne (CalMac) departs several times a day for Craignure. According to the sales clerk at the ticket booth, you do not have to buy your tickets in advance. Just show up ahead of time, and you'll be fine. However, if you have a certain route in mind, you might want to take a look at the various "Hopscotch" offers from CalMac. For example, the combined ticket Oban-Craignure and Fishnish-Lochaline saved us £ 11.40 (for two adults, and a car).
