Amphitheatre Cagliari

The Amphitheatre has been built by the Romans who performed complex plays here. Up to 20,000 people fit into the theatre, and today it is still being used for concerts.

Cagliari Harbour

The harbour of Cagliari is a working harbour. You can watch boats and ships of all sizes. In the back you see the ferry "Aurelia" that serves on the route Civitavecchia-Arbatax-Cagliari.

Another shot of the harbour in Cagliari.

Red Fisher Net

I just love to visit a working harbour, because there is always something going on, somewhere, and you find nice images like this - a red fisher net.

Palazzo Civico Cagliari

Right next to the harbour and the train station is the "Palazzo Civico", the city hall. In his building you will also find the official tourist information. But you can also click here. :-)

Cagliari Sardegna

Somewhere in the old town of Cagliari we found this genuine Italian scene: A small house, built at a steep street, the freshly washed clothes hang outside for drying.

Terrazza Umberto Palm Tree

And with this palm tree - we saw it at the Terrazza Umberto - we want to conclude this photo gallery. If you have any questions, just let us know. We're happy to help you with your trip planning.

THE END
