This is Santa Maria in Trastevere at night. The Trastevere quarter is a fantastic, very busy place at night. We were there on Saturday night, when suddenly at about 10.30 pm a professional Brazilian samba troop danced through the streets, complete with drums and whistles! It was fun, and I guess the people of Trastevere are used to it. :-)
