Our last walk is not strictly a 'walk'. It is just a collection of a few nightly scenes of
Rome. This is a street with restaurants close to Piazza Navona. Romans tend to go out
later in the evening, so you should be able to get a table in a restaurant before 9 pm.

This is the Trevi Fountain at night. I made these shots with my tiny Sony digital camera.
Here is how to do such night shots by yourself:
1. Disable flash
2. Select Night Program (if available)
3. Put the camera on a stable place (if tripod is not available)
4. Select self timer
5. Hit the release button and let the camera do the rest. :-)

Another photo of the street life in Rome at night. The city center is busy until
late in the night.

Fiume Tevere (Tever River) at night.

This is Santa Maria in Trastevere at night. The Trastevere quarter is a fantastic,
very busy place at night. We were there on Saturday night, when suddenly at about 10.30 pm
a professional Brazilian samba troop danced through the streets, complete with drums and
whistles! It was fun, and I guess the people of Trastevere are used to it. :-)

This is the Trattoria and Pizzeria Al Fontanone in Trastevere. It offers
reasonable prices and the best traditional Roman food you can imagine. We enjoyed our
meal very much as were a number of locals. This is always a clear indicator that it's
not a tourist trap!

Hosteria Piccolo Arancia - we found this tiny hosteria (which is by the way not a traditional name for a restaurant)
by accident close to the Trevi fountain. It is amazing that you will be able to
find the nicest restaurants when you you leave the main tourist routes. This
restaurant is just a few meters "off the beaten track" but it is affordable and
has a very friendly staff.
