Palms in Palms Spring, California, U.S.A.
As some of you know, I am currently scanning my complete slide archive in order to preserve
it for the future, and for the distribution through Zettpress, my commercial image archive.
And so I get to see a lot of shots that I previously seemed to have forgotten about, go figure.
Thus I opted for another archive shot (following last months's Moraine Lake) - palms against
the setting sun in Palms Spring (2003).
I can not really tell you why exactly I chose this photo, but I'll try. Maybe it's the subdued
blue colors, and the harsh contrast in the center, combined with the almost complete absence
of any other colors than blue and yellow? Heck, I like it anyway. Hope you too.
