Mighty Dunes at Sossusvlei, Namib-Naukluft National Park, Namibia
Did I mention that we have been to Namibia recently? ;-) Oh well, never mind. I am still very much thinking and dreaming of
this wonderful trip. I took thousands of photos, and it was very difficult to select the photos for Zanzig.com. However,
by the time you read this, the deed has been done and the photo report is online.
Now, the "Sossusvlei" experience can not be compared to anything else. It's simply unique. You drive along roughly 40 miles (70 km)
and encounter one beautiful spot after another. This is one of the majestic dunes of the Sossusvlei, untouched, gigantic, dwarfing
the trees at its base, sporting a brownish red color, and producing fantastic contrasts in the early morning or late afternoon.
In a word - awesome!
