Right Before The Sunrise, Cala Llombards, Mallorca, Spain (2006)
We are back from our 10 day trip to Mallorca, and we brought home a number of georgeous
photos. This one is amazing, especially if you view the larger photo (and even more so
when viewing the 16.7 Megapixel original).
This is the view from our hotel room at the Casa Poesia
in Cala Llombards, situated in the south-eastern corner of Mallorca. For some strange reason I woke up
early, at 5 am, right before sunrise, and I just wondered how the landscape might look like. So I stumbled to the
patio and grabbed the camera to capture the scenery. The mountains of the Serra de Llevant
provided a shield for the rising sun, resulting in the beautiful contrast, while the nightly fog could still
be seen lingering between the trees.
