MV Siegfried on the Rhein at Oberwesel (1937)
This month I selected one of the historical travel photos I received from my mother-in-law. It's the
MV Siegfried on the river Rhein at Oberwesel. The photo is dated 8th August 1937 - apparently a
beautiful day that allowed for a strikingly sharp photograph of the scenery. While the original
photo print is just 4.5" x 3", modern technology (namely my EPSON 4870 scanner)
allows for an excellent digital version of the photo. At 7 Megapixels it should be sufficient to be enlarged to huge sizes.
