This is the airstrip of the Namib-Desert-Lodge. In order to lift off against the wind, we will be taxiing all the way to the end, do a 180-degree-turn and start. (That was the plan anyway. It turned out that the turning point was in a bad condition, and the aircraft got stuck while turning around. We had to shovel it free before we actually could lift off!)
