Right across the old graveyard you will find the World War II Memorial, the "Cross of Sacrifice" which was unveiled in November 1981. It remembers the victims who died fighting against the Germans during the First and Second World Wars. A series of headstones stand on three sides of the Cross giving the names of individuals who died.
