A few miles north of the Edward Bohlen we came to Conception Bay, unspectacular but still quite beautiful.

Then Lindie and Marie took us inland again, and soon the first large dunes appeared, now in the best light of the quickly
approaching sunset.

The shadows casted by the sunlight were very long by now.

The last dune we saw during our scenic flight. We were now approaching the airstrip of the Namib-Desert-Lodge quickly.

One more photo, and we are almost done. At 18:50 we landed safely again, so we had a flight time of 107 minutes (instead
of 90 minutes), i.e. a free extra time of 17 minutes. :-)

We taxied to the end of the gravel airstrip, and as a 180 degree turn was required on the runway again, our Cessna V5-AEM
got stuck once more. This time we all had to pull the plane out of the sand, supported by the guy from lodge who picked us
up...

We finally managed to get the plane free, and V5-AEM prepared for take-off on the gravel airstrip.

Lindie applied the power gradually and created a huge cloud of dust.

Soon, the Cessna was airborne again, heading back to their home base in Sesriem.
