A fantastic view from the Kreuzeck mountain, which is close to Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

One of the many stunning views the area of Garmisch-Partenkirchen offers to the visitor.

On a sunny morning in December we decided to head for the Alps. We ended up in Schloss Linderhof which is situated close to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Oberammergau.

The shots from this walk are simply stunning, because we were in early and there were no clouds at all.

It had been freezing cold that night: the car display said -18 degrees when we drove up to the parking lot!

Due to the coldness, this walk was a real test for the Kodak DC-4800 camera. It performed well, and the pictures are very good.

The camera handled the extreme brightness easily and delivers a crisp and sharp photo (the photos presented here are compressed, so please do not expect to see it here).
