Even if El Gouna is an artificial town (i.e. it was planned instead of grown
over decades), it looks very much like an old Egyptian town. They even
sunk this sailing boat in one of the channels to offer something to the
photographs. It looks great, anyway!

Due to the many lagoon channels in El Gouna, you can easily get anywhere using their
boat transportation system.
