


As we decided to not stay at Yosemite Valley (due to the heavy smoke) we continued to
Petaluma and encountered this fantastic sunset shortly before we reached Vallejo.

The next morning we wanted to explore Point Reyes National Seashore, but the
clouds prevented more sophisticated photos. Anyway, the road towars the lighthouse, and
the whole Point Reyes area is simply beautiful. If only there were no clouds!
|



Here, we are already on our way to Redwood City to visit Petra's family. The clouds
chased away by a strong wind, and immediately we could do some more photos of the
Shoreline Highway.

We decided to stay the afternoon at Stanford University, which impressed us very much
with its wide streets, like Palm Drive above.
