In the morning it happened: I woke up, for no special reason, and I noticed that the sun would rise soon. I grabbed quietly my tripod and the camera bag and made a couple of photos from our patio at The Old Cape Road Guest House. This one shows Knysna just before the sun actually could be seen...

...and here the sun had started to appear! A fantastic moment, really unmissable. The quietness of the early morning combined with this view was overwhelming.

The clashing waves of the Indian Ocean, seen from Brenton-on-Sea. Brenton-on-Sea is a nice, maybe rather sleepy, village, just east of Knysna.
