Goats are the main attraction at this parking lot at the Medicine Lake.
The Maligne Canyon features a 3.7 km interpretive trail with several foot bridges
over the canyon.
Here, a Golden-mantled Ground Squirrel crossed our path.
Lac Beauvert with its clear water is directly located at the Jasper Park Lodge.
Lake Annette offers beaches, picnics and hiking trails. It is located close to the
Jasper Park Lodge.
In August it may be warm enough for a sunbath at Lake Edith.
Mt Edith Cavell is definitely worth a visit.

Athabasca Falls in Jasper National Park, just 30 km south of Jasper. A short trail
offers detailed information and stunning views of the thundering falls.
Sunwapta Falls, 55 km south of Jasper.
The Columbia Icefield seen from the distance. To the left there is the parking lot
and the walking trail up to the Athabasca glacier. At the Icefield Center opposite
of the glacier you can buy tickets for a coach service. We recommend to save your money and
use the free parking lot instead. :-)
