Pricing Principle

The cost for a photo largely depends on the degree of exclusivity you require and the type of usage. Downloading photographs for private use is free within the narrow boundaries of the our Copyright Statement. Please note that... publishing my photos on private homepages is NOT allowed hotlinking of images for private homepages is NOT allowed If you still want to do this, please look for a commercial licence below. Also, if you are looking for any commercial use, i.e. you are: earning money (e.g. publishers, magazines, writers) trying to earn money (e.g. travel web sites, freelance authors, blogs with ads or affiliate links) using my photographs, you may NOT use the photo for free. Please see sections 1a and 1b below for pricing. If you are providing professional services (e.g. interior architects who decorate an office) or trying to attract customers (e.g. creating a flyer or web site for your business), please inquire as additonal clearance will be required in most cases. If you are in doubt, please feel free to ask a question.

1. EDITORIAL USE (obtaining publishing rights to the photograph)

1a. Obtaining all rights to the photograph (full exclusivity)

You are the owner of the photo, with exclusive, unlimited worldwide publishing rights. You receive the original slide or the original file (in case of digital photos). You receive a good scan on CD-ROM, suitable for most publications. No need to quote the photographer or source. The photo will be removed from the web site (Zanzig.com). This costs a one-time fee of 250 Euro net (for European companies 19% VAT will be applied). Price includes standard mail shipping & handling. If required, you can order an additional high-end scan of the slide at additional cost. Courier mail service costs 25 Euro extra.

1b. Obtaining partial publishing rights (non-exclusive)

You may publish the photo in the agreed publication (book, magazine, website) with a by-line (Photo by www.zanzig.com) You receive a very good scan, suitable for most publications. All publishing rights remain with me. There is a discount scheme, depending on the number of photographs you are ordering: 1 image     125 Euro 2-5 images  100 Euro per image 6+ images    80 Euro per image All prices net (for European companies 19% VAT will be applied). Price includes standard mail shipping & handling. If required, you can order an additional high-end scan of the slide at additional cost. Courier mail service costs 25 Euro extra.

2. PAYMENT

The best payment method for all customers is PayPal as they allow convenient & secure money transfer without high transaction cost. You may alternatively wire the money to my German bank account (no cheques or credit cards, please).
