Petra & Christof

Saturday, May 29th, 2010

I rarely write about weddings, usually due to a lack of time. Also, many customers do not want to see their pictures up on the wild wild web and refuse to grant publishing rights.

But as I had some time today and the couple granted the rights to publish the photos, I wanted to share some photos from Petra and Christof who got married earlier today in Ingolstadt/Germany. They were a great couple to work with, creative and demanding, but also enduring and fearless. And they were a beautiful couple, presenting themselves in a perfect mood. All this being the perfect recipe for a great session.

As always, my Lastolite reflectors were quite useful as the sun was shining brightly at one of the locations the couple had selected for the shoot. And then, for the shooting in the woods, the reflectors added a beautiful soft light in the otherwise shady location. Ah, and Ingolstadt is best known for being the headquarter of Audi cars! And so Petra’s father got hold of a brand new A8 sedan car which added to the style of the wedding. Nice.

By the way, of the roughly 2,700 photos I shot 682 made it to the final selection.

Thanks again to Petra & Christof for a great day, and all the best for the future!
